1. Main Uses
The GPM-30 rolling contact fatigue testing machine is mainly used for failure testing of rolling contact components under simulated operating conditions. It applies a constant load to the test specimen in rolling or rolling-sliding contact, subjecting the contact surface to cyclic contact stress. Tests are conducted under controlled and varied parameters such as load, speed, slip ratio, time, friction counterpart material, surface roughness, and hardness, to evaluate the overall performance of the test material.
The machine has a horizontal frame structure and is controlled by imported AC servo motors for loading and rotation. Each test parameter can be set individually, ensuring convenient operation and accurate, reliable test readings. Parameters can be easily controlled via computer, allowing real-time display of friction torque-time, test force-friction coefficient curves, and enabling recording, saving, and printing of test curves.
