1) Purpose:
This equipment is used to test the impact resistance of optical cables. By applying an impact force, qualified optical cables must meet the following criteria: the optical fibers do not break, the attenuation change of the optical fibers does not exceed the value specified in the detailed specifications of the optical cable product, and the cable sheath does not crack.

This device adopts a human-machine interface and PLC control, with a TFT true-color screen displaying test parameters and experimental data. The impact height is adjustable, and it is equipped with different weight holders to meet the impact testing requirements of butterfly drop cables for access networks and other optical cables. It features stepless speed adjustment, an aesthetically pleasing design, stable performance, simple operation, and safe usage.
