1. Purpose:
This equipment is used to test the ability of optical cables to withstand mechanical torsion. By applying forward and reverse torsional forces, qualified optical cables must meet the following requirements: the optical fibers do not break, the attenuation change of the optical fibers does not exceed the value specified in the detailed specifications of the optical cable product, the optical cable sheath does not crack, and the cable core components are not damaged.
2. Features:
This equipment adopts a human-machine interface and PLC control, with a TFT true-color screen displaying test parameters and experimental data. It is equipped with different weights and clamps to meet the torsion testing requirements of butterfly drop cables for access networks and other optical cables. It features stepless speed adjustment, an aesthetically pleasing design, stable performance, simple operation, and safe usage.
3. Technical Parameters:
1) Product Model: GNZ-100
2) Maximum Torsion Length: 1000mm
3) Torsion Angle: ±90°, ±180°, ±360°, ±720°, freely selectable
4) Torsion Speed: (5–30) cycles/minute (at ±180° speed), freely adjustable
5) Torsion Cycles: 1–9999, freely adjustable
6) Weights: 5kg × 5, 2.5kg × 1 (total weight: 27.5kg)
7) Can operate independently or be remotely controlled by a computer. Torsion cycles are automatically recorded, and the test stops automatically upon completion.
8) Weight: 600kg
4. Installation Requirements:
1) Power Supply: Single-phase, AC220V ±10%, 50–60Hz, 1.5kW.
2) Install on a stable foundation with at least 1 meter of clearance around.
3) Ambient Temperature: 25°C ±10°C, Humidity: ≤80% non-condensing.
4) Indoor environment free from vibrations and corrosive media.
