(1) Purpose:
This equipment is designed to test the ability of optical cables to withstand repeated bending. By applying repeated bending forces, qualified optical cables must meet the following criteria: the optical fibers do not break, the attenuation change of the optical fibers does not exceed the value specified in the detailed specifications of the optical cable product, and the cable sheath does not crack.
(2) Features:
This device adopts a human-machine interface and PLC control, with a TFT true-color screen displaying test parameters and experimental data. The position of the optical cable on the swing arm is adjustable. Equipped with different weights and bending wheels of various radii, it can meet the repeated bending test requirements for butterfly drop cables used in access networks and other optical cables. It features stepless speed adjustment, an aesthetically pleasing design, stable performance, simple operation, and safe usage.
(3) Technical Parameters:
1) Product Model: GWQ-90
2) Repeated Bending Angle: ±90°
3) Repeated Bending Speed: (10–30) cycles/minute, adjustable
4) Repeated Bending Cycles: 1–9999, adjustable
5) Weight Bracket: 5kg
6) Weights: 5kg×4, 2.5kg×1, 1.0kg×1
7) The test can be started independently on the device or remotely via computer control. The number of repeated bending cycles is automatically recorded, and the test stops automatically upon completion.
