The tube expanding tester is used to determine the plastic deformation capacity of metal tubes with circular cross-sections and to inspect and reveal visible cracks in the tubes. The expanding tool (conical plug) of this tester is typically available in angles of 30°, 45°, and 60°. It complies with ISO 8495, the standard method for flaring tests on metal tube rings, which involves expanding one end of a metal tube ring sample using a conical plug until fracture occurs, thereby detecting surface and wall defects in the tube ring sample. It also meets the requirements of GB/T 228.1-2021, the tensile testing method for metallic materials at room temperature, making it an ideal testing device for enterprises, quality inspection departments, and research institutions.
