Insulator Mechanical Load Testing Machine

Shandong Huayan Insulator Mechanical Load Testing Machine is primarily suitable for tensile and compression tests on post-type insulators. With the addition of other auxiliary fixtures, it can also test the mechanical properties of metals, non-metals, and composite materials, including tension, compression, bending, shearing, tearing, peeling, compression resistance, and flexural strength.

The Shandong Huayan insulator mechanical load testing machine is mainly suitable for tensile and compressive tests on post-type insulators. With additional accessories, it can also perform tensile, compressive, bending, shear, tear, peel, compressive, and flexural strength tests on metals, non-metals, and composite materials.

1. Basis of Standards:
1. This testing machine complies with the standard GB/T 8287.1-2008 "Indoor and Outdoor Post Insulators for Systems with Rated Voltages Higher than 1000 V - Part 1: Tests for Porcelain or Glass Insulators."
2. This testing machine complies with the standard GB/T 8287.2-2008 "Indoor and Outdoor Post Insulators for Systems with Rated Voltage Higher than 1000 V - Part 2: Dimensions and Characteristics".
3. This testing machine is manufactured according to the GB/T 16491-2008 "Electronic Testing Machine" standard.
4. This testing machine is calibrated and accepted according to GB/T12160-2002 "Specifications for Extensometers for Uniaxial Testing" and GB/T16825-1997 "Verification of Tensile Testing Machines".

2. Test Method:
1. Tensile Test: The tensile test refers to applying a tensile load along the axis of the insulator. For post insulators, the tensile load can be tested on a single post insulator. If the post insulator consists of multiple components, the component with the lowest strength should be selected for testing. (As required by Clause 5.2.6 of GB/T 8287.1-2008)
2. Compression Test: The compression test refers to the insulator enduring compressive pressure along its axial direction. The compressive strength of a two-dimensional post insulator can be tested using a single post insulator. If the post insulator consists of multiple components, select the component with the lowest strength for testing. During the compression test of longer post insulators, instability may occur; therefore, the entire post insulator should be selected for testing. (As required by Clause 5.2.7 of GB/T 8287.1-2008)
